Ordering and Payment
What products can I order from the online shop?
The online shop of the Bestattungsmuseum Wien offers a wide range of products, from funeral-themed building blocks and Bestattung Wien lighters to cemetery honey.
How can I order a product from online shop?
You can conveniently order any time. Please note the minimum age of 16. When you create a customer account, you can quickly shop for your selected products, and after logging in, you’ll find an overview of your orders in your personal area of the online shop. If you prefer not to register right away, you can also place orders without creating a customer account.
What payment options are available in the online shop?
You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal and eps.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, you have the following options:
- Return the received goods using the return form. Fill out the cancellation form and send it by email to museum@bestattungwien.at or by post within 14 working days of receiving the goods.
- Contact us via the contact form or email (museum@bestattungwien.at). Please have your order number ready. The staff from the Bestattunsmuseum Wien will inform you of the next steps.
Are the prices listed in the online shop inclusive of VAT?
All prices are shown in euros and include VAT. VAT will be listed separately on your invoice.
Shipping and Delivery
Which courier service delivers my order?
Orders from the online shop are delivered by Österreichische Post AG (Austrian Post).
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Packages are generally delivered within 1-2 business days to the address you provide. You will receive a notification once your package has left the warehouse and can track the shipment from that point.
Where can my order be delivered?
Shipping is available throughout Austria and Germany.
What are the delivery shipping costs?
Shipping costs within Austria are EUR 6.90. Different rates apply for Germany.
What should I do if the goods arrive damaged?
Please check your order upon receipt. If any items are damaged, please fill out the return form promptly and return the package or damaged items. You will be refunded the corresponding amount.
How much does it cost to return an order?
You can return ordered items free of charge (within Austria) within 14 working days using the return form.
Returns and Refunds
How can I return a product?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If a product does not meet your expectations, you may return the package or items free of charge (within Austria) within 14 working days. Please use the designated return form and ensure that the product is returned unused/undamaged and complete.
Can I return a product in person at the Bestattungsmuseum Wien?
This is possible during opening hours within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, cash refunds at the museum are not available.
Can I exchange a product?
If you wish to exchange a product, please use the return form and send us the item within 14 working days. Upon receipt of the returned items, the Bestattungsmuseum will immediately issue a credit. In the meantime, you can place a new order in the online shop.
